Kranjska Gora is a ski resort, and is therefore rather sterile. Its surroundings are, however, breathtaking. Nearby is a picturesque lake with a statue of the Zlatarog, the mythical guardian of mount Triglav. His face appears on the Slovenian beer, Lasko.
